Become a Member

The Ukrainian Historical Society (UHS) extends an eager invitation to all individuals, families and businesses to become an Annual Member, your membership will support many important programs and services we have planned during the coming year. We welcome your membership and hope that you take part in some of the many programs we have planned for you.

Since it founding, the UHS has relied on the support of individuals like you, who care about their Ukrainian heritage. Membership benefits include special discounts on publications and events. Members will also receive our annual report, personalized membership card, recognition in our semi-annual newsletter. In addition, you will be supporting all the important work currently underway at the UHS, to secure and promote our cultural heritage.

Membership Fees/Categories

A. Individual membership ($30.00 annual fee)
B. Family membership – any parent(s) and their minor children ($40.00 annual fee)
C. Organizational/ Corporate membership ($100.00 annual fee)
D. Patron ($200.00 annual fee)*
E. Director’s Roundtable ($500.00 annual fee)*

Special programs

Throughout the year, UHS will sponsor a number of local and on-line events, including a photography contest, lecture series on preserving and documenting family histories, genealogy workshops, book reviews, art and essay contests, and many more participatory programs. As a member, we hope that you will take advantage of some of these events.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Ukrainian Historical Society welcomes those who have a passion for history, and would like to add their talents to the Society. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities in your local community that will mutually benefit the Society and your own personal interests.
