Oral History Project
Oral histories are an important part of documenting the lives of families, communities, and cultures. In 2006, we began our national oral history project as a way of collecting and preserving our intangible cultural heritage, by giving everyone an opportunity to leave an audio record of their unique experiences, and by teaching others how to collect these stories in their own homes and communities.

Ukrainian Photograph Archives
Preserving the pictorial history of the Ukrainian experience during the last 125 years is an important undertaking in preserving our visual cultural history. Developing this archive will be an important resource for many students, authors, film producers, designers, historians and educators, who depend on photos for their work. We welcome all material that is of significant cultural and historic value. If you have photos but do not want to donate them at this time, we can have prints made from them.

The Ukrainian Biographical Directory
If you would like to be included in our who’s who in the Ukrainian Diaspora, then this program may be of interest to you. The Ukrainian Historical Society is in the process of collecting biographical sketches from people of Ukrainian descent that have made a significant contribution(s) in their profession, local community, or society at-large. This directory will present entrants with categories ranging from A (Accountant) to I (Interior Designer), to Z (Zoologist). This reference source will provide the reader with a comprehensive subject index, listing individuals by occupation, professional certifications, awards and affiliations, publications, military service, career positions, vital statistics, and more. This publication will serve as wonderful reference work for all to enjoy.
If you would like to be included in this publication, or know someone who would, please request your application form today from info@uhsoc.org or click here for a printable application in PDF format suitable for mailing.
